The mechanism of ferromagnetic ordering in ZrOx film is investigated by both experimental observation and theoretical calculation. Magnetic measurements reveal that the magnetic properties can be adjusted from diamagnetism to ferromagnetism by varying the oxygen stoichiometry. We find that oxygen-rich defects can be responsible for the observed magnetic properties by taking the measurements of x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and room temperature photoluminescence spectra. Density functional theory calculations further confirm that the ferromagnetic order is mainly driven by the exchange interaction between the oxygen antisites and the neighboring anion atoms.

信息技术已经进入纳米时代,纳米光学和光子学正是为满足快速和高密度信息技术的需求而产生、发展的。先进的纳米光学和光子学器件应该是高速、高分辨率和高集成的,形成各类光学和光子学芯片和盘片。由于器件最小特征尺寸和加工分辨率受限于光的衍射极限,现有技术已接近实用化技术的理论极限并且成本很高,只有突破光学衍射极限才能进一步发展纳米光学和光子学。在光的远场和近场应用超分辨率技术,是当前重要的前沿课题,它们的应用主要集中于信息技术领域,具有代表性的是纳米信息存储和光刻中的光学超分辨率技术等。

Different pattern structures are obtained on the AgInSbTe (AIST) phase change film as induced by laser beam. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was used to observe and analyze the different pattern structures. The AFM photos clearly show the gradually changing process of pattern structures induced by different threshold effects, such as crystallization threshold, microbump threshold, melting threshold, and ablation threshold. The analysis indicates that the AIST material is very effective in the fabrication of pattern structures and can offer relevant guidance for application of the material in the future.

Nondestructive Raman spectroscopy and external-beam proton-induced X-ray emission (PIXE) technique to analyze eight ancient glasses unearthed from the provinces of Henan, Hubei, and Jiangsu, which allowes for a good characterization of the glass matrix and chemical compositions, is carried out. The results indicate that all the eight glass samples could be typically divided into three systems: faience (sample No. SZWG-4), PbO-BaO-SiO2 (sample Nos. NYWKI-5-1, HNWKII-88, and HNWKII-84), and Na2OCaO-SiO2 (sample Nos. HBWKI-16, HBWKI-17, HBWKI-18, and SZWG-1). Additional relationships between the Raman spectra and parameters, such as residues of raw materials and opacifying agent, are also discussed by respectively comparing them with similar glass samples excavated from other historical sites.

利用磁控溅射法在K9玻璃基底上制备了SiN/Sb80Bi20/SiN相变薄膜结构,并利用连续He-Ne激光共焦Z-扫描技术同时测量了在激光作用下透射和反射非线性光学响应。实验结果表明,相变膜在激光焦点处的反射和透射信号由于薄膜的相变表现为非线性响应特性。薄膜在焦点处的透射信号强度随着扫描激光功率的增强逐渐增大直至饱和。这是由于在激光的作用下形成了相变微区,随着扫描功率的增加,相变区域逐渐变大引起的。对不同功率激光扫描后的样品进行了低于相变阈值的重复扫描实验,结果表明,相变区域具有较高的光热稳定性,说明BiSb相变薄膜具有相变数据存储潜在应用价值。

利用直流磁控溅射法将SiSb薄膜沉积到聚碳酸酯光盘盘基上,利用相变光盘初始化仪分别在400,500,600,700,800和1200 mW的激光功率下将光盘初始化。比较了在不同激光功率下SiSb薄膜在300-800 nm波段的反射率变化情况。研究表明,随着初始化激光功率的提高,SiSb薄膜的反射率和反射率对比度逐渐增加。在400-800 nm波长范围内,SiSb薄膜在1200 mW激光初始化下高达30%-35%的反射率对比度,说明此相变薄膜是一种有前途的新型光存储材料。将沉积态与400,800和1200 mW初始化后的SiSb薄膜进行X射线衍射分析,研究表明,沉积态的SiSb为非晶态,激光初始化后的样品发生了不同程度的晶化,激光功率越高,晶化程度越高,晶化相为Sb的六方晶系菱形中心结构。

从理论上详细探讨了基质激光玻璃与包边玻璃的折射率匹配与剩余反射率的关系,并从实验上验证了折射率匹配越好,吸收系数与包边玻璃厚度的乘积越大,则剩余反射率越低,从而对激光放大器中寄生振荡的抑制越好,增益也就越高。

A new sub-wavelength metallic film lens configuration is proposed, which is embedded in a thin ideal metal film, and its near field optical properties are investigated by finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. It is found that the optical transmission is greatly enhanced, and the spot size can be reduced by the sub-wavelength metallic film lens in comparison with the bare aperture. This kind of lens is expected to have practical applications in the very small aperture laser (VSAL), a promising nanosource for near-field optical storage and lithography.

The effect of an apodizer with two parallel taper refractive surfaces is theoretically investigated for high-density optical storage. The apodizer may modulate an incident Gaussian beam into an annular beam. Simulation shows that with the increasing inner radius of the modulated beam, the focal spot shrinks obviously. The depolarization effect gets strong simultaneously, which induces the circular symmetry loss of the focal spot. In this process, pattern density of the orthogonal and longitudinal diffractive fields increases remarkably.
